Tooling Engineer

Role Overview

We are recruiting for Tooling/Mechanical Design Engineers to support one of our Aerospace customers. The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to our client and will be expected to be proactive and self-motivated in delivering the targeted outputs.

What You Will Do

Develop and manage current production processes to improve Quality, Cost & Time, and support planning and the introduction of new products and processes.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Proven practical Engineering & manufacturing knowledge and experience
• Experience in using Catia
• Experience of operating in an environment employing development techniques such as FMEA, DFA, DFM etc
• Ability to understand the customer needs to develop a design solution
• Proactive 'Team Player' with a focus on delivery and quality
• Ability to liaise at all levels of the business management levels
• Excellent communication skills and decision maker
• Knowledge of Tooling and Production processes
