The RN will enhance the effective management and quality of nursing practice daily in keeping with the standards and expectations set out by governing bodies and internal policies and standards of care.
Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
- Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and health care practices as well as in the areas of wound management, infection control, least restraint, and zero lift
- Effective human relation skills, enables other through coaching, mentoring, learning through shared experiences.
- Ability to work alone and with others while prioritizing tasks to handle most urgent first.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively within a variety of stressful situations and challenges and with various individuals or groups.
- Strong organizing, planning, prioritizing, time management skills.
- Proven experience in taking personal responsibility for seeking information from various sources.
