Dietary Aide (Casual) - Valleyview Care Center

Job Description: Dietary Aide provides support to the set up, preparation, serving and clean up associated with all meal services in the Residence/Home. Key Responsibilities include serving meals, setting and clearing dining tables, and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and dining area.

Requirements

• Food Handler's Certificate
• Previous experience in the food service industry and working with seniors (preference)
• Food Service Worker Training Program
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand/walk for majority of shift
• Proficiency in a second language (asset)
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check)
