Dietary Aide/Cook

The Dietary Aide/Cook position at Extendicare Countryside is a part-time role that assists with food preparation and serving of meals, cleaning, and adhering to established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will work at our 256-bed long-term care home in Sudbury, Ontario.

Requirements

• Successful completion and/or enrollment in a Food Handlers Program meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long-Term Care Homes Act
• Previous dietary experience in LTC Home (0-1 year)
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures
• Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
