Bookkeeper

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our Manager or Founder with day-to-day accounting tasks, including property (trust) accounting and corporate/entity accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy
• 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Property management accounting experience preferred
• AppFolio and QuickBooks Online experience required
• Rent Manager experience is a plus
• Experience with trust accounting and corporate/entity accounting
• Strong understanding of financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience in outsourced property and real estate accounting environments or working with third-party accounting providers is a plus
• Conversational English required
• Strong written English skills in a business environment
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow work flows in Karbon HQ
