Performs computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing imaging equipment while providing quality care to patients of all ages. Requires self motivation to increase the level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease and new procedures as they evolve.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Specific Training in Computerized Tomography-GE VCT
- One or more years' experience performing CT procedures
- Registered with and must be in good standing with American Registry of Radiological Technologist
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist - (MRT)
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in CT
- Current AHA approved Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card or within 60 days of hire required
