Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design, implement, and operate our Edge Kubernetes Platform, supporting both connected and air-gapped deployments. This role involves hands-on work with Kubernetes, Rancher Gov, and GitOps to deliver scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (upstream/RKE2) and cluster management.
- Experience with Rancher Gov stack for multi-cluster operations.
- Proven ability to implement GitOps workflows using Fleet and/or ArgoCD.
- Solid understanding of OCI bundles, Helm, and automated orchestration pipelines.
- Background in containerization (Docker), Linux systems, and cloud-native CI/CD pipelines.
- Good grasp of security, networking, and segmentation principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.
