Job Description
We are seeking an Advanced Gas Treating Engineer to join our Kuala Lumpur Technology Center team. The position involves providing technical support to manufacturing sites and supporting the implementation of improvement projects on existing manufacturing sites. You will be working closely with our global process engineering team and manufacturing sites' teams.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 10-15 years of work experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Refining Industry
- Minimum 10 years of work specialization on Gas Treating Units, Sulfur Recovery Plant, Amine, Sour Water System (SWS) for Downstream Oil Refining and/or Upstream Industry
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, especially in multi-cultural global team with both internal and external partners
- Strategic thinking and able to develop creative fit for purpose solutions to resolve operational problems
- Ability to influence and promote change to achieve desired results with no or minimal direct authority
