Job Description
ExxonMobil is seeking a Core Blending Engineer to join their Kuala Lumpur Technology Center team. The successful candidate will provide deep technical knowledge of blending principles, technology, and work processes to manufacturing sites across the globe. The role involves providing specialist consulting and technical support to affiliates worldwide, as well as technical leadership through training, work process reviews, and best practice implementations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fuel product blending within refining/chemical operations
- BS / MS in an engineering discipline (Chemical Engineering or Chemistry only)
- Industrial experience in Blending optimization and/or coordination
- Advanced MS Excel Macro development
- Experience in statistical quality control (SQC) and statistical tools (JMP)
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, accuracy, effectiveness, and self-confidence
- Demonstrations of leadership and mentoring abilities
- Experience in hydrocarbon processing or supply chain optimization/coordination, ideally within Refining or PetroChemicals organisations
