Hydroprocessing Engineer

ExxonMobil is looking for a Hydroprocessing Engineer to join their Kuala Lumpur Technology Center team. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in Hydroprocessing and Hydrocracking, enhance organizational capability, and evaluate, develop, and deploy technologies within their area of expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Refining Industry
• Prior experience in Hydroprocessing and Hydrocracking for fuels and base stocks in the downstream oil refining industry
• Proficiency in unit operation, troubleshooting and optimization, process modelling, catalyst selection
• Experience in project development from early screening studies, through lead case selection, detailed engineering, and unit startup and commissioning
• Expertise in new technology evaluation, development, and deployment
• Turnaround support, including reactor inspection and startup
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Strategic thinking and ability to develop creative fit for purpose solutions
• Ability to influence and promote change to achieve desired results
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed
