Marine Claims Advisor

ExxonMobil is seeking motivated Marine Claims Advisors to support its Marine Claims organization in Bangalore, Karnataka. This role involves analyzing and negotiating over 20,000 annual marine claims to ensure accurate and timely resolution of claims, fostering commercial acumen and trade flow knowledge. The role offers opportunities to develop negotiation skills and contribute to ExxonMobil’s overall sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• University degree in relevant field (commercial shipping, business & finance, logistics)
• Solid understanding of charter party agreements, laytime calculations, and shipping documentation
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) (preferred)
• Experience with offshore/onshore LNG terminal interfaces and LNG shipboard operations (preferred)
• Familiarity with international maritime regulations (preferred)
