Operations Research Engineer

ExxonMobil is seeking an Operations Research Engineer to support decision-making with models developed using operations research methods. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into mathematical problems and apply operations research methods to create technological and analytics solutions, particularly focusing on supply chain and commercial functions, like Fuels, Lubes, and Chemical products. The engineer will need to collaborate with global teams and be comfortable using Python for developing solutions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Applied Mathematics (or relevant field) preferred
• 5+ years’ experience applying operations research modeling methods
• Proficiency in mathematical optimization and stochastic simulation
• Strong analytical and communication skills
