ExxonMobil is seeking an experienced Reservoir Simulation Engineer to join their team. The role involves supporting global portfolio of deepwater, conventional, heavy oil, unconventional, and carbon storage assets through reservoir simulation studies. Engineers will analyze data, build/update models, perform QC, and contribute to business decisions related to production forecasting, reservoir management, and carbon storage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in petroleum/chemical/mechanical engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in upstream oil and gas industry
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in reservoir simulation
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of basic reservoir engineering concepts (reservoir simulation, analytical performance prediction, economics metrics)
- Proficiency in data science tools (e.g., MATLAB/C/Python, Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience in data science/machine learning a plus
