Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Trader to strengthen our London trading team. The successful candidate will identify opportunities in the power markets, design and execute forward-market trade strategies, and have a strong track record of proprietary trading P&L generation in power curve markets.
Requirements
- Proficiency in analysing large datasets
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and advanced Excel
- Ability to work with quantitative teams
- Highly numerate, decisive, and comfortable taking well considered risk
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong situational awareness, discipline, and ability to operate effectively in fast-moving markets
