Static Equipment Engineer

ExxonMobil is seeking a Static Equipment Engineer to perform thermal-hydraulic and mechanical design evaluations of heat exchangers, ensuring compliance with standards and operational requirements. The role involves troubleshooting performance issues, reviewing vendor designs, and applying pressure vessel design principles. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of experience in Thermal/mechanical design of Heat exchanger.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years’ experience in Thermal and mechanical design of Heat exchanger
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical responsible roles in Heat transfer Engineering/ surveillance / inspection activities in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Proven experience in the design, fabrication, and troubleshooting of various heat exchanger types, including Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers AND Plate-Type Heat Exchangers
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes such as TEMA, API 660/661, ASME Section VIII Division 1 & 2.
