We are seeking a Strategy and Transactions Experienced Associate to join our team in Kuching. As part of our global team of 10,000 professionals, you will advise clients on preserving, optimising, raising or investing capital. You will work across all industries and operate in a broad range of disciplines including merger and acquisition, valuation, transaction due diligence, strategic planning and capital allocation.
Requirements
- Perform industry and company research utilising online tools and publicly available information
- Analyse the financial and operational results of companies targeted by reviewing accounting records and participating in interviews with management
- Prepare analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow requirements and deal valuation
- Deliver financial modeling engagements for strategic planning, capital allocation, transaction support, investment appraisal, financial planning and reporting purposes
- Perform business valuation for transaction and financial reporting purposes
- Work effectively as a team member by demonstrating your commitment to quality, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.
- Assist in researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring
- Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
