Registered Nurse (RN), Pre-Operative/PACU/OR (Full Time)

The Registered Nurse (RN), Pre-Op / PACU / Operating Room position is a full-time role at Deer Creek Surgery Center in Overland Park, KS, requiring a RN license, BSN preferred, and at least one year of experience in operating room, surgical, or ambulatory surgical center settings.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• BSN degree preferred
• Current RN License in the state where the worksite is located
• One year of previous nursing experience in operating room, surgical, or ambulatory surgical center settings
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Knowledge of Amkai Office and Amkai Charts Database software
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Ability to respond to emergent situations
• Demonstrates a positive, friendly, courteous and professional manner
• Maintains effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and other staff
• Ability to work within a team
• Good communication skills: oral and written
• Ability to be organized, manage time effectively and in a cost effective manner
