Ophthalmic Technician

The Ophthalmic Technician assists doctors in eye examinations, performing various duties such as patient workups, vision tests, and administrative tasks. Must be willing to travel to different clinic locations and work overtime if needed.

Requirements

• Gathering medical records and patient information
• Taking ocular measurements, both anatomical and functional
• Administering or preparing medications
• Providing eye care and contact lens information to the patient
• Maintaining and cleaning ophthalmic instruments
• Assisting the doctors in basic procedures
