Job Description
The AVP, Actuarial Models oversees and directs the Actuarial Models team using Moody’s AXIS actuarial modeling software. Responsibilities include development, peer review, and integration of coding changes to the corporate model, as well as managing a team of 8-10 actuaries and technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Finance, Statistics or other related area
- Minimum ASA; FSA preferred
- Seven to ten years of experience with actuarial models required
- 4+ years experience leading a team
- 1+ years experience in formal controls and working with auditors is preferred
