Job Description
At F5, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team of Cloud Administrators, Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), and DevOps professionals across AWS and Azure environments.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles, with 6+ years in a management/leadership capacity
- Deep hands-on expertise with both AWS and Azure (multi-cloud environments)
- Strong understanding of core cloud services
- Proven experience managing SRE or Cloud Ops teams, including on-call rotations, incident management, and reliability engineering
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of networking (DNS, load balancing, CDN, VPN, firewalls) in cloud contexts
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, CloudHealth)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
