Job Description
F5 is seeking a Software Engineer III – AI Security to design, build, and enhance tooling and intelligent systems that support safe, resilient AI workflows. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of software engineering experience, a strong understanding of distributed system design, and experience or strong interest in AI/ML concepts.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of software engineering experience
- Strong understanding of distributed system design, asynchronous workflows, and microservices architectures
- Experience or strong interest in AI/ML concepts, especially in applying models to assist developer tooling or runtime analysis
- Familiarity with modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Comfortable working with APIs, message buses, and streaming data (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub)
- Practical knowledge of secure development practices, runtime policy enforcement, and defensible system design without being limited to “scan and flag” strategies
