Job Description
We are seeking a Sr Site Reliability Engineer to oversee all CES services and lead efforts for Self-hosted GitLab development in India. The role includes development, automation, monitoring, and support of DevEx services.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience as a Site Reliability Engineer
- Experience as SRE for Deploying, Maintaining & administering Self-hosted Gitlab instances
- Experience in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes administration experience
- Automation: Adapt an automation approach to solving problems
- Experience in scripting with any of Shell / Python
- Experience in any configuration tools like Ansible/ Chef / Puppet
- Exposure to any programming language is a plus
- Experience with Terraform
- Monitoring: Experience in any Monitoring tool like – Datadog / Prometheus / Grafana / Splunk
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the cloud providers - AWS/Azure
- Exposure to Vulnerability management tools, like Qualys is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, including systems failures, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks
- Create and maintain comprehensive knowledge bases for system documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics
