Software Engineering Instructor

Factored is seeking a Software Engineer Instructor to design and deliver technical training for MLE and SWE engineers. The role involves creating curriculum, delivering live instruction, and developing asynchronous content. The instructor will work closely with the vetting and recruiting teams to ensure training aligns with client expectations and hiring bar requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience teaching, mentoring, or leading technical training for software engineers
• Experience in deploying and managing Cloud Infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Strong proficiency in at least two programming languages
• Solid understanding of software architecture patterns
• Practical knowledge of testing strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience designing structured curriculums, learning paths, or technical programs
• Proactive and self-directed
• Ability to adapt teaching style across seniority levels
