Job Description
Fairbanks Morse Defense is seeking a Contracts Specialist to review, edit, and negotiate transactional contracts, manage long-term strategic agreements, and assist in proposal preparation. The role requires expertise in international procurement laws and regulations, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Requirements
- Review/revise customer terms and conditions
- Assist Business Unit teams in negotiating pricing and terms and conditions
- Perform contract administration activities
- Draft contract language
- Assist in the preparation of proposals
- Provide advice and assistance to management
- Educate BU Leaders on contract control and handling
- Provide advice to management on acquisition rules and regulations
- Maintain FMD's files for all assigned contracts and agreements
