Job Description
Faire is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join their General Ledger (GL) Accounting team and help strengthen and advance their world-class controllership function as they scale. This is a high-impact role focused on strengthening their month-end close, enhancing internal controls, and driving operational excellence across a fast-growing and increasingly complex global business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA a plus)
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally a mix of public and private/company-side
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and documentation best practices
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Familiarity with accounting systems like Netsuite, close tools (e.g. FloQast) and spend management systems (e.g., Ramp, Zip, Concur)
