Maintenance Technician II

Fairfield is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of their residential community. The role involves performing daily maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing issues, and preparing vacant apartments for new residents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum one year of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• General computer skills, including operating a mobile device
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Superior customer service skills, including the ability to manage difficult customers and situations
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to be on-call for after-hours emergencies
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
