Maintenance Technician II

Fairfield is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform daily maintenance tasks, diagnose and repair issues, and prepare vacant apartments for new residents. The role is responsible for maintaining the exterior of the property, inspecting buildings and grounds, and ensuring compliance with Fairfield policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum one year of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• General computer skills, including operating a mobile device
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Superior customer service skills, including the ability to manage difficult customers and situations
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to be on-call for after-hours emergencies
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
