Job Description
The Department of Social Work in the School of Education and Human Development at Fairfield University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Practice. This is a non-tenure track faculty position with primary responsibility for teaching and student advising and mentoring.
Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program.
- Eligibility for social work licensure (e.g., LMSW/LCSW) in the state of CT or ability to obtain licensure.
- Significant post-MSW professional practice experience, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience teaching in higher education or a strong record of professional training and supervision relevant to undergraduate social work education.
- Evidence of a relational approach to working with students and colleagues
