Job Description
Fairmat is a deeptech pioneer in carbon fiber recycling, focused on circular material reuse. They are seeking a Senior R&D Engineer to drive development of new recycled materials for various applications, like sports, automotive, and electronics. The role involves translating client specifications, managing projects, and ensuring quality control throughout the material development process.
Requirements
- Develop 2 to 3 validated recipes annually
- Translate client/product specifications into technical specifications
- Analyze performance and compare against Fairmat's state-of-the-art
- Pilot and participate in experimental campaigns
- Write detailed technical reports
- Ensure production compliance with specifications
- Contribute to internal technology development
- Support product/production teams on industrialization
- Design and evaluate solution paths
- Comunicate through written materials and workshops
