Clinic & Injection Room Nurse LPN/RN/CMA

The Clinic Nurse/Injection Room MA is responsible for demonstrating knowledge and application of job duties within scope of practice and functions under the direction of their manager(s) and/or Director. The position requires effective communication skills, ability to fluently speak and read English, and ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, handbooks, policies, patient care plans, and procedure manuals. The nurse will assist the doctor with skin testing and other procedures as ordered, prepare and administer any medications requested by the doctor, and perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Effective communication skills to include ability to fluently speak and read English
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, handbooks, policies, patient care plans, and procedure manuals
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written, with all levels of staff and patients
• LPN/RN/Certified Medical Assistant
• 1 to 2 years nursing experience in an office setting, preferred
• Previous allergy/asthma experience preferred
• CPR certification required
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Active CPR Certification
• Acceptable results on Office of Inspector General, State Medicaid Exclusions, Abuse Registry Checks, Background Screenings, Drug Screen, and Sanction Checks
• Ability to travel to satellite offices as needed
• Must be at least 18 years of age
