Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for performing and supporting the daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.

Requirements

• Preparation of prescriptions for Pharmacist’s final verification
• Verification of patient specific information and entry/review of data into the Pharmacy Practice Management System
• Labeling and processing of prescriptions
• Communication with prescribers for approval or denial of refills
• Inventory management and stock rotation
• Operational duties such as cash handling and customer service
• Assistance with inventory process and other duties as assigned
