Job Description
Family Life Academy Charter School is seeking a dynamic educator to teach US History to high school students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education as activism and a commitment to creating a safe, warm, and caring environment for students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- New York State Teaching Certification in Social Studies (grades 7-12)
- Prior satisfactory teaching experience, especially in an urban school
- Dual certification in English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) or Students with Disabilities (plus)
