Middle School Speech Pathologist/Therapist 2026-2027

Family Life Academy Charter School is seeking a Middle School Speech Pathologist/Therapist to provide speech and language services to students with Individualized Education Programs. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders, New York State licensure in Speech and Language Pathology, and prior experience in an urban school setting.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
• New York State licensure in Speech and Language Pathology
• NYS Teachers of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) / Teachers of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) required
• A bilingual TSSH /TSSLD extension preferred
• Prior experience, especially in an urban school, is preferred
• NYS Department of Education fingerprint clearance and criminal background checks
