Job Description
Faraday Future is seeking a Senior Firmware Over The Air (FOTA) Engineer to contribute to their data solution. The role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing data applications using Java/Spring Boot on Kubernetes, including data ingestion, ML pipelines, and log analytics. The engineer will be integrated with various firmware and mobile teams.
Requirements
- Design, build, and operate FOTA microservices (campaigns, targeting, packaging, rollout/rollback) using Java/Spring Boot on Kubernetes.
- Implement secure delivery paths and APIs (gRPC/protobuf and REST) over MQTT/HTTP2.
- Model data across relational stores with queues/streams and caching.
- Instrument services for observability (metrics, tracing, logs) with clear SLOs.
