Job Description
Faraday Future is seeking a Senior Manager for Core Platform R&D to lead the development and maintenance of backend platforms that power their business end-to-end. This role involves owning end-to-end execution across microservices, APIs, messaging, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on reliability, performance, security, collaboration, and mentoring.
Requirements
- Bachelorās degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years building and operating production backend systems.
- Advanced proficiency with Java (Java 17+), Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.
- Production experience on AWS (e.g., EKS/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, RDS/Aurora or DynamoDB, ElastiCache/Redis) and InfrastructureāasāCode.
- Solid data and messaging skills.
- Reliability, performance, and security mindset.
- Professional working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (preferred)
