Fabrication and Assembly Operator

Farmshelf is hiring Fabrication and Assembly Operators in Brooklyn, NY, to help scale production of the new Farmshelf F3 hydroponic cabinet. Operators will contribute to all aspects of production including kitting, subassembly, finishing, quality assurance, and packaging.

Requirements

• Proficient with hand and power tools, good dexterity
• 2+ years of experience in fabrication and assembly in a shop or factory environment
• Readiness to regularly stoop down or lift materials (up to 50 lbs)
• Strong attention to following standard operating procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Readiness to speak up and report issues clearly and promptly to the supervisor
• Willingness to participate in continuous improvement exercises
• Commitment to arrive on time and ready for work according to assigned shifts
• Physical fitness to work hands on and on one’s feet for 8 hour daily shifts
