Photographer

We are looking for a photographer/editor/truck operator with the ability to capture the essence of what is happening in the field and deliver it to our digital and linear audiences. The ideal candidate will have training in video photojournalism and professional experience in a news environment.

Requirements

• Shoot and edit VOs, VO-SOTs, and packages for linear and digital platforms
• Execute well-lit and creative live shots
• Work with the assignment desk, reporters, producers, and the web team to cover daily stories
• Shoot on assigned professional ENG camera equipment
• Edit in Adobe Premiere and use ENG, SNG, and wireless data to feed completed work to the station
• Work with reporters and the assignment desk to ensure we’re gathering impactful content
• Work closely with reporters and producers to turn their creative vision into compelling video and sound
• Use catalog systems to save/store, record, and locate necessary video
• Produce and publish content to our online platforms
• Be highly organized and attentive to gear and equipment maintenance
