Engineering Manager

Take full technical ownership of a mission-critical, highly regulated financial data platform as Engineering Manager for DERICON, leading the evolution of a complex platform ecosystem and guiding multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and owning end-to-end system architectures within complex microservice environments.
• Proven experience running systems in production (not just building them): incident leadership, reliability improvements, and operational ownership in a microservice ecosystem.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS-based cloud infrastructure, including security, service provisioning, and CI/CD and DevOps tooling.
• Led multidisciplinary engineering teams, combining technical leadership with coaching, prioritisation, and roadmap alignment.
• Experienced in working within regulated environments and designing technically sound solutions aligned with frameworks such as BaFin, BAIT, or DORA.
• Communicate complex technical topics clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership and auditors.
