Operate equipment such as Mig and Tig welding machines, maintain a clean and safe workplace, and work with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- Weld certification desired but not required
- Able to operate all machines and tools in the department
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in prolonged postures (bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing, and squatting)
- Ability to read blueprints is desired
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must have good knowledge of weld symbols, processes, and procedures
