Vactor Mfg. Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Class I (Mig) Welder to operate equipment such as Mig and Tig welding machines, maintain a clean and safe workplace, and work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a weld test
• Weld certification desired but not required
• Able to operate all machines and tools in the department
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in prolonged postures (bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing, and squatting) while performing all job tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints is desired
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must have good knowledge of weld symbols, processes, and procedures
• Must be able to use jigs and fixtures to produce weldments
