The Quebec Federation of Municipalities is seeking a motivated hydraulic engineer to join a team of multidisciplinary experts in various construction, renovation, and improvement projects for municipal infrastructure. The role involves collaborating with the team to design, prepare, and draft administrative and technical documents for mandates, as well as providing advisory services to municipalities at various stages of a mandate's management.
Requirements
- University undergraduate degree in civil engineering or construction engineering
- Member of the OIQ
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in urban hydraulic engineering and in natural environments
- Knowledge of regulations and standards in municipal infrastructure and municipal regulation
- Understanding of the applicable regulatory framework for stormwater management projects or in wetlands and hydric environments
- Master of hydraulic modeling tools PCSWMM and HEC-RAS
- Teamwork and collaboration spirit

- Ease of writing reports
- Completed ASP construction site safety training
- Master of Office Suite and software specific to the function
- Valid driver's license
