The Quebec Federation of Municipalities (FQM) is seeking a dynamic and motivated municipal engineer to join its team. The engineer will work on construction, renovation, and improvement projects of municipal infrastructure, collaborating with the team and various experts to contribute to all stages of municipal engineering and infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Hold a university undergraduate degree in civil engineering or construction engineering
- Possess a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in municipal engineering or a similar function
- Possess excellent knowledge of regulations and standards in the field of municipal infrastructure and municipal regulation
- Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license
- Have knowledge of good practices in contract management, project management, tendering and procurement processes, and funding programs for infrastructure work
- Be a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec
- Have completed construction site safety training (ASP construction)
- Master the Microsoft Office suite and MS Project
