The Quebec Federation of Municipalities is looking for a Municipal Engineer to support the launch and development of a new regional office in Malartic. The role involves offering technical support to municipalities, managing projects, designing municipal infrastructure, and preparing funding requests and bids.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in municipal engineering or a similar function
- Excellent knowledge of regulations and standards in municipal infrastructure and municipal regulation
- Valid class 5 driver's license
- Knowledge of best practices in contract management, project management, procurement and bidding processes, and financial aid programs for infrastructure work
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec
- Completed safety training on the work site (ASP construction)
- Knowledge of Office and MS Project suite
