Job Description
This position is responsible for assisting with financial and accounting services, including preparation of financial reports, income and expense reports, and budgets. The Accountant I will perform general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliations, and support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Comprehensive understanding of financial/accounting matters and processes
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and perform financial statement preparation
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment; confidentiality essential
- Proficient in MS Office software as well as accounting software
- Current & valid driver’s license and daily access to an automobile
- Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 35 lbs.
