Job Description
We are seeking a mid-to-senior level fintech regulatory associate to advise technology companies on navigating the legal, business and regulatory issues around online and mobile payments, consumer and peer-to-peer lending, virtual and digital currency, blockchain technology, token generation events, as well as prepaid, loyalty and rewards programs.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of payments or banking law experience, including working on bank chartering or money transmission licensing
- CA, WA or NY bar preferred, but not required
- Superior academic credentials, excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills a must
- Experience with, or affinity for blockchain technology companies and cryptocurrency is a positive
- Experience working with financial regulators such as the OCC, CFTC, or state financial regulators is a plus
