Job Description
Test Engineer Electric & Electronics job involves aligning with test managers and analysts, preparing and executing test cases, and collaborating with interdisciplinary and international teams.
Requirements
- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in setting up and operating complex manual or automated test systems
- Experience as a test engineer in environmental testing is an advantage
- Hands-on knowledge of programmable controllers (PLCs such as Siemens or Beckhoff) and peripherals
- Proficiency in PLC programming according to EN61131-3, especially in Structured Text or Python
- Basic understanding of industrial fieldbus protocols such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or EtherCAT
- Experience using ALM tools like Jira, Doors, or Codebeamer
- Familiarity with software testing principles; ISTQB certification is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
