The Investly Business Development Associate supports the Investly Business Development team to be the most effective channel for driving high-quality users, investors and funded investors, while being cost-efficient. The role involves identifying and securing sponsorship opportunities, gathering and analyzing regional market trends and user data, and supporting sales initiatives by prospecting new relationships and following up with clients.
Requirements
- Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
- Completion of university degree in finance, business administration, or relevant field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in financial services, preferably in sales or customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Driven spirit; highly motivated and growing in an environment passionate about achieving goals.
- Relationship focused, with strong interpersonal and active listening skills and the ability to interact effectively with various personalities.
- Great teammate, while also being able to work well independently.
- Ability to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Product knowledge coupled with explaining features/benefits effectively
- Excellent presentation, persuasion, and influence skills.
- Demonstrated upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload and competing demands.
- Data-driven approach; able to analyze and act on regional metrics.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office, and experience with a CRM tool such as Salesforce.
