Fidelity Canada is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor to play a key role in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth clients. The successful candidate will manage and grow a dedicated client portfolio while creating comprehensive financial plans and providing exceptional client service.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Partner with clients and prospects to understand their objectives and what is important to them in setting financial goals
- Act as a concierge to clients to assist with their financial needs and ensure client satisfaction with a focus on retention of clients
- Provide regular updates to clients on investment strategies, capital markets and various other aspects of the client’s financial needs
- Be resourceful when determining solutions that will add value to the client’s long-term goals
- Develop investment and financial planning strategies for our clients on how to invest their portfolios and plan for long-term financial goals
- Complete a deep discovery to understand clients financial and nonfinancial situation and what factors are important to them
- Leverage our financial planning software to put together a plan to address identified client needs and goals
- Continuously review and update client plans as material changes occur throughout various life stage
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships
- Ensure clients receive the appropriate levels of service, including meetings, planning, reporting, and responses to requests/questions
- Proactively contact existing clients to educate them about investment strategies, products and services to help them grow their portfolios
- Identify, execute and follow up on opportunities to gather additional client assets while providing client centered discussions
- Work closely with the Sales Development VP in the onboarding process of new books of business and the accompanying clients
- Provide guidance and direction to Wealth Advisor(s)
- Mentor (Junior) Wealth Advisors to build a development pipeline
- Strategize ways to increase prospects, client penetration and overall book of business
