Job Description
GE Vernova's Gas Power business is seeking a Welder III to join its FieldCore team. The Welder will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling metalwork and piping, as well as operating equipment with precision. The role requires strong welding skills, mechanical drawing understanding, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in power generation (gas/steam turbines) and associated auxiliary equipment
- Strong skills in welding and grinding of Turbine components
- Ability to effectively operate jacking fixtures/porta power, cranes, forklifts oxygen and acetylene torches/propane
