Job Description
The CRA Loan Specialist is responsible for originating residential 1st mortgage loans for branch offices and outside referrals, with a focus on selling CRA products and services to low to moderate-income individuals and areas. The position requires knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures, as well as federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
Requirements
- Develop CRA prospects & referral contacts
- Maintain knowledge of Fifth Third Mortgage Company's policies and procedures
- Conduct and coordinate homebuyer-training seminars
- Handle employee loans and participate in Fifth Third-coordinated functions
